The New & Expecting Parents Circle Facilitator will provide support to parents and caregivers through our New & Expecting Parent Support Circle. The circle is run by two co-facilitators who are trained and supported by PSS staff and by other volunteers. Our circles are base on self-help, peer support model which provides a safe space for Circle members to get together and discuss their strengths, challenges or concerns about parenting role of the child development and parenting. The Circle meet once a week, 2 hours in person. Facilitators MUST have live or professional experience working with families who are new or expecting parent. Training online: Self-paced 15 hrs. (1 months to finish) and 3 Live Zoom sessions on May 25,27, and June 1, 2023. Free for those who are able to commit one year of volunteering in the position (3 to 5 hrs. a week) Criminal check required Training required
