This position will provide companionship for LTC residents through 1 to 1 visits. Volunteers should be friendly and have excellent communication skills. Volunteers will visit with residents and take part in individual activities that the residents enjoy (ex. cards, puzzles, crafts, reading etc.) This role is great for individuals looking for experience in the health care sector. Ideal volunteer would be able to commit to 50 hours in the role. In adherence to government orders ALL volunteers in this position must be fully vaccinated against covid-19.
