Assist our Animal Health Technicians in the rehab department. Volunteers will be doing animal diet prep and meat prep and several cleaning duties. Animals contact is very minimal!

Wildlife Rehab Assistants assist our Animal Health Technicians in the rehab department. Volunteers do animal diet prep and meat prep as well as several cleaning duties. Contact with animals is very minimal.
Burrowing Owl Assistant (Age 18+) | Positions Available: 5
Burrowing Owl Assistants assist our Burrowing Owl Breeding Centre by cleaning enclosures, feeding and doing minor maintenance on burrows and perches.
Family Farm Assistant (Youth & Age 16+) | Positions Available: 5
Family Farm Assistants will assist zookeepers in maintaining a safe environment while guests meet our Double H Corral animals. Volunteers help guests enter the Family Farm area, keep the area clean and speak with Park guests.
Animal Diet Prep (Age 16+) | Positions Available: 5
Animal Diet Prep volunteers assist zookeepers in preparing animal diets for our resident animals. Volunteers are trained by a staff member from Animal Care and learn about dietary requirements. Volunteers prepare vegetables, fruits and handle grain as well as fulfill several cleaning duties.

Animal Diet Prep volunteers assist zookeepers in preparing animal diets for our resident animals. Volunteers are trained by a staff member from Animal Care and learn about dietary requirements. Volunteers handle and prepare raw meat, insects, dead mice, dead chicks, etc.

Animal Care Aids assist zookeepers with various animal care tasks.
Falconry Assistant (Age 18+) | Positions Available: 5
Falconry Assistants assist our Falconer on a set day, once a week. Volunteers do meat prep in Falconry (dead chicks, dead mice, dead rats and dead quail), clean bird habitats, assist with perch maintenance and more.
Gardening Assistant (Youth & Age 14+) | Positions Available: 5

Facilities Assistant (Youth & Age 14+) | Positions Available: 5
Facilities Assistants assist our Facilities department with various jobs around the Park. These can include: Regular Park maintenance (raking, weeding, etc.) Assembling and dismantling special event displays Building or repairing habitats Assisting in odd jobs around the Park
Wildlife Education Aide (Age 18+) | Positions Available: 5
Wildlife Education Aides will be assisting staff in our Education Department! Volunteers will be presenting mini wildlife displays to Park guests, assisting interpreters during wildlife workshops, helping in kids' camps and helping with activities during special events.
Special Events (Youth & Age 14+) | Positions Available: 5
Help in several departments on special event days such as Mother's Day, Easter, WIldlights, etc.
