Exchange Program Orientation Facilitator | Positions Available: 1

Global Choice is a non-profit, non-governmental, and volunteer-based organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. Description of Duties: Global Choice Canada needs volunteers to run 2-3 hour orientations for high school exchange students. Our students receive an orientation at the beginning, middle, and end of their stay in Canada. We teach intercultural learning in order to help foster responsible global citizens. All teaching materials are provided. Some orientations include a fun activity and lunch! (All costs associated with the orientation are paid for. There should be no cost to the volunteer.) Skills Required: -English fluency, -Leadership, -Strong speaking skills, -Passionate about working with youth. Skills Gained/Related Careers: -Leadership, -Speaking skills, -Group management, -Organization. Time Commitment: Orientations always happen on a weekend and are a commitment of 3-6 hours once every few months.
