Humane Educator Volunteers will help develop, prepare and deliver humane education materials and activities. Programs may be onsite at the Farm Sanctuary and offsite with schools, community groups and organizations. Volunteers will also respond to humane education inquiries and bookings as well as provide direction and assistance to Compassion Camp Counsellor volunteers in the Summer. Volunteers should have previous experience working with and teaching children/youth or adults and/or related post-secondary education, as well as a strong interest and concern for farm animals, farm animal welfare issues and related health/environmental impacts. This position has a flexible schedule depending on the humane education program's schedule throughout the year.
