We have 5 positions that need to be filled on the day of the Community Yard Sale held on May 27th. Please let us know which ones you can assist with. 1) Gofers and Set Up Team Members 7:30-9:00am. Description: Assist with marking out yard sale stalls, setting up tables for community sellers, bringing out goods for the church table. Setting up the food tables, barbecues, and bringing out the grocery items, and other odd jobs as needed. 2) Greeters and Ushers - 8:45 - 2pm. Description: To welcome sellers and buyers to the yard sale and direct people to various areas and tables, children's activities, food carts, and inside facilities. Answer any questions people may have. Help with any clean up incidents as required. 3) Packing and Clean Up Crew - 2:00-4:00pm. Description: Assist with packing up items from the church sale table, folding and returning the church tables to the building, packing and loading borrowed tables into vehicles as well as unloading and returning same tables to owners and location, packing up food items, loading borrowed equipment into vehicles, and cleaning up trash. 4) Musicians - 10:00am -2:00pm Description: To provide light entertainment for sellers, buyers, and yard sale participants. Conduct a children's sing-a-long. 5) Childrens Entertainers - 9:00am - 3:00pm. Description: Help with set up and assist congregation members with games and activities for children. Storytelling. Help with packing up children's items at the end of the day.
