The Kamloops Arts Council relies heavily on its volunteers. From the 50 or more volunteers needed for Art in the Park – one of our annual events which sees more than 30,000 people through Riverside Park on Canada Day – to ongoing volunteers who work behind the scenes stuffing envelopes and making buttons, the KAC couldn’t do without them. Our signup form can be found here.

Benefits of Volunteering with KAC
Volunteering with us can be a great way to gain experience, get involved in the arts community, meet people, and learn something new.

As a volunteer you can play a part in helping us to put the arts, in all its forms, at the heart of our community:

Through our programs, we’ll help even more artists launch their careers
And through our Crossing Bridges Arts Outreach program, support marginalized and at-risk groups
Our programs will bring our community together socially helping to build identity and pride
Making the Kamloops area even more attractive to residents, tourists, business and investors
And demonstrating the valuable role that the arts plays in building a healthy community.
As a volunteer for Kamloops Arts Council, you really can make a big difference.
