BOOGIE THE BRIDGE – Various Volunteer Opportunities – Volunteer opportunities include Communications Team Lead, Food Team Lead, Volunteer Team Lead, and Entertainment Team Lead. Responsibilities vary for each position. Boogie the Bridge event is April 26, 2020.

Current Volunteer Positions:

VOLUNTEER KAMLOOPS – Snow Angel Volunteers needed – We are seeking volunteers for the Snow Angels program in various areas of Kamloops. Must be physically fit and reliable. Please complete our volunteer application online and specify you are interested in Snow Angels.

SALVATION ARMY – Bell Ringer – Volunteer at one of many locations across town to be a Bell Ringer at one of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettles their largest fundraiser of the year. Scheduling is flexible and there are indoor and outdoor locations available. This volunteer opportunity is Family Friendly.

MS SOCIETY OF CANADA – MS Ambassador – Volunteer positions include Government Relations and Advocacy, Fund Development, Research and Programs and Services, and Public Awareness.

KAMLOOPS BLAZERS HOCKEY CLUB – Event Staff Volunteers – Various duties include registration clerks, room attendants, security, and more. This is for all events, not just hockey. Volunteers must be 19+, be physically fit, and be able to attend 30% of all events.

ADAPTIVE SPORTS AT SUN PEAKS – Volunteer Ski and Snowboard Instructors (15+) are needed to commit to one weekend day throughout Jan., Feb., and Mar. each snow season at Sun Peaks.

KAMLOOPS FESTIVAL OF THE PERFORMING ARTS – Publicity Coordinator – The volunteer will utilize the publicity program in place as well as introduce new ideas. The Publicity Coordinator will actively pursue all publicity avenues provided to maximize Kamloops and surrounding area awareness and engagement.

KAMLOOPS SPECIAL OLYMPICS – Assistant to the Head Coach for Power/Weight Lifting – Volunteers will assist the Power Lifting and Weight Lifting coach in a variety of duties.

KAMLOOPS SPECIAL OLYMPICS – Assistant to the Head Coach for Bocce – Volunteers will assist the Bocce coach in a variety of capacities.

KAMLOOPS SPECIAL OLYMPICS – Assistant to the Head Coach for Softball – Volunteers will assist the head coaches in softball.

ASK WELLNESS SOCIETY – Shuttle Driver – Volunteers will drive the company minivan. Two shifts available daily. Route is to Lansdowne Mall and North Hills Mall from Mission Flats. Volunteers will transport clients between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
